LABOSAN
Laboratory of Environmental Sanitation (Labosan) was built in the year 2,002 with the financial support of FUNASA. In 2007, Labosan expanded its physical space, was financed from the Ecosan-Fortaleza, PROSAB / FINEP and CAGECE projects. In 2011, a new renovation of its physical space was financed from the FUNCAP and CNPq projects. Currently has a current area of 250 m2, which allows the installation of new equipment, as well as space needed for the development of research. This laboratory has good infrastructure to carry out the most diverse physical, chemical and microbiological analyzes of water, sewage and biosolids. The infrastructure also includes computers, study room, bioreactor room, chromatography room, molecular microbiology room, bioenergy room, etc.
