He has a degree in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Ceará (1994), Full Degree in Specific Disciplines (Physics) from the State University of Ceará (2000), Specialization in Road Engineering by UFC (1999) and Master (1997) and Doctorate (2007) , in Civil Engineering – Geotechnics, by the University of Brasília (UnB). He is currently a professor at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC), taught in the undergraduate courses in Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering and in the Master’s degree in Geotechnics at the same University. At present he has worked mainly in the following subjects: foundations, geotechnical investigation, soil mechanics and environmental geotechnics.
