Eduardo Sávio Passos Rodrigues Martins completed his doctorate at the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering – Cornell University in 2001. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Federal University of Ceará and President of the Ceará Meteorology and Water Resources Foundation and a collaborating professor at the Postgraduate Program in Climate and Energy from the State University of Ceará. The researcher has published articles in specialized journals, in annals of events in Brazil and abroad, books and book chapters. Besides that, he has developed (or participated) in the development of software and other items of technical production. He supervised master’s and doctoral dissertations in the areas of Sanitary Engineering, Meteorology, Agricultural Engineering and Agronomy. In 2003 he received the Young Scientist Award, Advisor category. This researcher has participated in several research projects, being the coordinator of many of them. He is currently the representative of the International Association for Hydrological Sciences (IAHS) in Brazil. He works in the area of ​​Sanitary Engineering, with an emphasis on Hydrology. In his professional activities, he interacted with several collaborators from Brazil and abroad in co-authorship of scientific works. In his curriculum Lattes the most frequent terms in the context of scientific, technological and artistic-cultural production are: Hydrology, Hydraulics, Local and Regional Frequency Analysis, Bayesian Analysis, Water Resources, Inflow Forecast, Optimization and Operation of Reservoir Systems.
