Associate Professor of the Department of Hydraulic and Environmental Engineering of UFC, Coordinator of the Water Quality Laboratory (SELAQUA) and Coordinator of the Post-Graduation in Civil Engineering / Water Resources, Environmental Sanitation and Geotechnics of UFC. Chemical Engineer with Masters and Doctorate in Water Resources / Environmental Sanitation at the Federal University of Ceará / University of Texas at Austin. (Australia) under the guidance of Dr. Gayle Newcombe and Dr. Andrew Humpage investigating and developing technologies for water treatment with the presence of cyanobacteria and their metabolites (toxins and flavor and odor compounds) of interest Brazil / Australia (Funded by CAPES). He worked at the Water and Sewage Company of Ceará (CAGECE), initially in Project Management analyzing and developing projects in several areas of basic sanitation. Within the same company, he specialized in the development of ETAs project and operation, acting in the area of ​​Research and Innovation and as a specialist in water treatment throughout the State of Ceará.
