Civil Engineer from the Federal University of Ceará. Master in Public Health from the University of São Paulo and PhD in Public Health from the University of São Paulo. Full Professor at the Federal University of Ceará, developing activities alongside the Undergraduate Courses in Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering and Postgraduate Course (Master and Doctorate) in Civil Engineering, areas of concentration in Environmental Sanitation and Water Resources. Has experience in Environmental Engineering, mainly in the following segments: solid waste; pollution control; reuse of water; environmental management; urban and environmental planning, environmental impact assessment. He is a member of the Cearense Academy of Sciences. Author of the books: “Introduction to Environmental Engineering”, “Environmental Management of Water Resources” and “Urbanization and Environment”. Organizer of the book “Reuse of Water: the experience of the Federal University of Ceará”. Co-organizer of the books “Reuse of Water in Irrigation and Fish Farming” and “Nutrients of sanitary sewage: utilization and removal”.
